One employs accredited music teachers with teaching degrees
or musicians with a performance background who have passed
our tests to ensure our students learn correctly how to play
and master the instrument of their choice.
Tuition is due the 1st of the month or no later than the 1st
lesson. Percussion One is the most reasonably priced school
in the area, and we do offer credit for lessons missed if
prior arrangement has been arranged (24 hours) There will
be no credit issued for missed lessons and inclement weather
is not a viable reason for calling out, if the roads are clear
we will be open even if school is canceled. In the event of
a closing for inclement weather, credit will be issued and
Percussion One will call to inform of the closure.
Percussion One is opened Monday through Saturday for lessons
and is closed only for New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of
July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Weekend (4days) Christmas Eve
and Christmas Day.
We understand you cannot give 24 hour notice if you bring
your child home sick from school, so we ask that you do respect
our teachers and call in as soon as you can, and if early
enough we may issue credit or reschedule . Students are expected
to come to lessons prepared and on time.
If
you arrive late your lesson may be cut short so please be
prompt. Recommend only one (1) lesson per week as to give
the student ample time to practice.
We know these days are busier than they were in the past and
many students have several activities they are involved with.
We ask that you schedule your lesson so that you may return
home immediately and review your lesson as to help retain
what you have learned.
Percussion (drum) students who
have not purchased a set of drums yet are free to come in
on Saturdays and practice but please call first to make sure
a studio is available.
